“The word privilege gets used a lot; but when it comes to the work I do, it really is a privilege to be able to work with incredible people who I see in my practice. I’m constantly amazed at the richness of human experience. Even though I hear awful stories and see people dealing with pain, fear, and anger – I also see beauty, wonder, healing, and resilience.

I’ve learnt so much from my clients and been witness to change, hope, growth, and joy. Working with people who never imagined they would be heard and held in a safe space, or that they could experience contentment and happiness in their lives, is a constant source of wonder to me. And sometimes it’s bloody hard, but always worthwhile.

Getting to spend every day in conversation with the infinite variety of the human experience of love and relationships is, indeed, a privilege.”
