OUR ETHOS

Our commitment to social justice is at the heart of how we teach, practice and live.

This ethos is rooted in what we call The Social Justice Throuple, which describes key principles that inform and direct our practice, our lives and course delivery.

Intersectional Feminism

Centering the interconnectedness of identities and recognising systems of oppression.

Decolonising Therapy

Challenging Eurocentric norms in therapy and honouring cultural and community-based knowledge.

GSRD Awareness

Affirming the full spectrum of gender, sexual, and relationship diversity.

Our ethos invites us to approach relationship diversity with awareness and attunement, through what we call an O&P Lens (Open & Polyamorous).

This lens offers a critical framework for examining and challenging mononormativity, polyphobia, and couple-centrism, supporting a broader, more inclusive understanding of relational possibilities.

We question the assumption that romantic, monogamous and couple-based relationships are the ideal for everyone. Instead, we affirm and celebrate contemporary relational diversity - including multi-partnered, non-hierarchical, and sexually open connections - as valid, legitimate and meaningful.
